The business

CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE: CNHI) is a leading global equipment manufacturer headquartered in the United Kingdom with operations spanning 32 countries and commercial presence in approximately 166 countries. The company develops, manufactures, and sells agricultural and construction equipment alongside financial services offerings through its three primary business segments: Agriculture, Construction, and Financial Services.

The Agriculture segment produces a comprehensive lineup of tractors, harvesters, hay and forage equipment, seeding and planting equipment, and self-propelled sprayers marketed under the Case IH and New Holland global brands, supplemented by regional brands including STEYR and Raven. The Construction segment manufactures excavators, crawler dozers, graders, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders, and compact track loaders sold primarily through the CASE Construction Equipment and New Holland Construction brands, with Eurocomach serving regional markets. Both segments increasingly integrate precision agriculture and construction technologies including GNSS positioning, connectivity, automation, and autonomous solutions.

The Financial Services segment, operating commercially as CNH Capital and Banco CNH in Brazil, provides retail financing for equipment purchases and leases, wholesale dealer financing, and trade receivables factoring services. Financial Services maintains strategic partnerships with major financial institutions, including majority ownership by BNP Paribas in European operations.

CNH operates through a network of more than 2,300 agriculture dealer owners managing over 5,000 locations and approximately 400 construction dealers with roughly 1,700 points of sale, predominantly independently owned and operated. The company maintains 30 parts depots worldwide supporting both segments. As of December 31, 2025, CNH employed 34,197 people, including 9,129 in the United States and Canada.

The company holds approximately 11,000 registered patents and maintains significant intellectual property through trademarks and trade secrets. Strategic acquisitions including Raven Industries, Hemisphere GNSS, Augmenta, and Sampierana have strengthened CNH's precision technology capabilities and vertical integration in compact equipment manufacturing. The company pursues an "Iron + Tech" strategy emphasizing product leadership through technology integration, commercial expansion, and sustainable organic growth across global agriculture and construction equipment markets.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
