The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (NYSE: BK) operates as a global financial services platform company at the heart of the world's capital markets. The company maintains a presence at www.bny.com and serves as a trusted partner to over 90% of Fortune 100 companies and nearly all of the top 100 banks globally. With more than 240 years of history, BNY provides comprehensive solutions across the investment life cycle for buy-side and sell-side market participants as well as leading institutional and wealth management clients worldwide.

BNY operates through three primary business segments. Securities Services encompasses Asset Servicing and Issuer Services, providing custody, fund administration, front-to-back outsourcing, foreign exchange, securities lending, and depositary receipts services. Market and Wealth Services includes Pershing, which offers execution and clearing solutions; Payments and Trade, delivering global payments and liquidity management; and Clearance and Collateral Management, providing clearing and settlement services for equities and fixed-income transactions. Investment and Wealth Management comprises Investment Management, a multi-asset portfolio solutions provider with specialized investment firms including BNY Investments Dreyfus, Insight Investment, and others, alongside Wealth Management, which provides investment management and private banking services.

The company oversees $59.3 trillion in assets under custody and administration and $2.2 trillion in assets under management as of December 31, 2025. BNY maintains approximately 48,100 full-time employees globally, with roughly 60% based outside the United States. The company serves diverse client bases including central banks, sovereigns, financial institutions, asset managers, insurance companies, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals through a network of more than 30 offices internationally. BNY's business model generates revenue through investment services fees, investment management fees, net interest income, foreign exchange revenue, and various other financial services. The company's competitive advantages include its extensive global infrastructure, deep expertise across capital markets, established client relationships, and integrated technology platforms serving institutional and wealth management clients worldwide.
