EOG's United States operations span multiple productive basins with significant activity in the Delaware Basin, South Texas, Appalachian Basin, and Rocky Mountain regions. The Delaware Basin represents the company's largest producing area, followed by South Texas operations including the Eagle Ford and Dorado plays. The Appalachian Basin operations focus on the Utica play, where EOG holds approximately 1.1 million net acres. International operations include offshore production in Trinidad, exploration activities in Bahrain, and unconventional oil exploration in the United Arab Emirates.

The company employed approximately 3,400 persons as of December 31, 2025, including foreign national employees. EOG's strategy emphasizes being among the highest return and lowest cost producers while maintaining strong environmental performance. Crude oil is transported by pipeline to downstream markets or sold at various U.S. locations including the Gulf Coast, Cushing, the Permian Basin, and the Northeast. Natural gas liquids are processed at company-owned or third-party facilities and sold at prevailing market prices. Natural gas production is primarily transported by pipeline throughout the United States and to the Dawn Hub in Ontario, with pricing based on spot market prices at ultimate sales points.
