The Ketjen segment provides refining catalysts, fluidized catalytic cracking catalysts, and performance catalyst solutions to the global refining industry.
In October 2025, Albemarle signed a definitive agreement to divest its controlling interest in the Ketjen Refining Solutions business while retaining a 49% ownership stake and maintaining its Performance Catalyst Solutions business. The company completed the sale of its 50% interest in Eurecat S.A. in January 2026.
