The business

ConocoPhillips is an independent exploration and production company traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol COP. The company maintains its corporate presence at www.conocophillips.com and operates as a leading global energy producer with approximately 9,900 employees across 14 countries.

The company explores for, produces, transports and markets crude oil, bitumen, natural gas, natural gas liquids and liquefied natural gas on a worldwide basis. ConocoPhillips was formed in 2001 through the merger of Conoco Inc. and Phillips Petroleum Company, which was consummated in August 2002. In April 2012, the company completed the separation of its downstream business into Phillips 66, an independent publicly traded energy company, allowing ConocoPhillips to focus exclusively on upstream exploration and production activities.

ConocoPhillips operates through five geographic segments: Alaska, Lower 48, Canada, Europe Middle East and North Africa, and Asia Pacific. The Lower 48 segment represents the largest contributor to production, accounting for 67 percent of consolidated liquids production and 74 percent of consolidated natural gas production. Alaska contributes 12 percent of liquids and one percent of natural gas production. Canada contributes nine percent of liquids and five percent of natural gas production. The Europe, Middle East and North Africa segment contributes eight percent of liquids and 18 percent of natural gas production, while Asia Pacific contributes four percent of liquids and two percent of natural gas production.

The company's portfolio includes resource-rich unconventional plays in North America such as the Delaware Basin, Eagle Ford, Bakken and Midland Basin; conventional assets in Norway, Qatar, Libya and Equatorial Guinea; oil sands operations in Canada; and liquefied natural gas developments. Total company production for 2025 reached 2,375 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day. As of December 31, 2025, ConocoPhillips held total assets of approximately 122 billion dollars with proved reserves of 7.637 billion barrels of oil equivalent.

The 10 largest by fund-held value, of 26.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
