The Medical Surgical Portfolio comprises surgical and endoscopy products alongside acute care and monitoring solutions. In March 2026, Medtronic completed the initial public offering of its Diabetes Business, which was separated as MiniMed Group, Inc.

Medtronic employs over 95,000 full-time employees globally, with 43 percent based in the United States or Puerto Rico. The company manufactures products at facilities located throughout the world and maintains a global distribution network combining direct sales representatives and third-party distributors.
