The business

Kenvue Inc. (NYSE: KVUE) is the world's largest pure-play consumer health company by revenue, operating as a global leader at the intersection of healthcare and consumer goods. The company was established through the separation of Johnson & Johnson's Consumer Health Business, completing its transition to an independent public company in August 2023 following an initial public offering in May 2023. Kenvue's website is located at kenvue.com.

The company operates a differentiated portfolio of iconic, science-backed brands trusted by generations of consumers across more than 165 countries. Major brands include Aveeno, BAND-AID Brand, Johnson's, Listerine, Neutrogena, Nicorette, Tylenol, and Zyrtec, among others. These brands are organized into three reportable business segments: Self Care, which includes cough, cold, allergy, pain care, and other self-care products; Skin Health and Beauty, encompassing face and body care, hair, sun, and related products; and Essential Health, covering oral care, baby care, women's health, and wound care categories.

Kenvue operates with approximately 22,000 employees distributed globally, with roughly 23 percent in North America, 28 percent in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, 30 percent in Asia Pacific, and 19 percent in Latin America. The company maintains a balanced global manufacturing footprint that delivers approximately 60 percent of sales volume through in-house operations, with the remainder supplied by external third-party manufacturers. This hybrid approach provides operational flexibility while optimizing capital allocation.

The company's business model emphasizes digital marketing capabilities, consumer-centric innovation, and precision targeting across its portfolio. Kenvue combines deep scientific expertise with consumer insights through a global team of approximately 1,600 scientists, doctors, pharmacists, and engineers. The company leverages its scale and modern marketing capabilities to develop unique consumer insights and drive brand relevance across diverse geographic markets and consumer segments.

Kenvue is pursuing a proposed transaction with Kimberly-Clark Corporation, with shareholders having approved the merger agreement in January 2026 and regulatory approvals progressing through the Hart-Scott-Rodino process.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
