The business

Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE: KMB) operates as a global consumer health and hygiene company focused on manufacturing and marketing essential daily-use products made from natural and synthetic fibers, nonwovens, and absorbency technologies. The company's website is www.kimberly-clark.com.

Founded in 1872 and incorporated in Delaware in 1928, Kimberly-Clark serves consumers in more than 175 countries and territories through a portfolio of trusted brands holding number one or number two market share positions in approximately 70 countries. The company's major brands include Huggies, Kleenex, Scott, Kotex, Cottonelle, Poise, Depend, Andrex, Pull-Ups, GoodNites, Intimus, Plenitud, Sweety, Softex, Viva, and WypAll.

The company operates through two reportable segments for continuing operations: North America and International Personal Care. These segments encompass five global daily-need product categories: Baby and Child Care, Adult Care, Feminine Care, Family Care, and Professional. As of December 31, 2025, Kimberly-Clark employed approximately 36,000 people across consolidated operations, with roughly 35 percent located in North America and the remainder distributed across approximately 55 countries. Approximately 50 percent of the workforce engages directly in manufacturing and distribution operations.

Kimberly-Clark's products are distributed through supermarkets, mass merchandisers, drugstores, warehouse clubs, variety and department stores, other retail outlets, distributors, and e-commerce channels. Walmart Inc. represents the company's largest customer, accounting for approximately 16 percent of net sales from continuing operations. The company manufactures and operates facilities across 30 countries globally.

In November 2025, Kimberly-Clark entered into an agreement to acquire Kenvue, Inc., a global consumer health leader, for stock and cash consideration totaling approximately 280 million shares and $6.7 billion. Additionally, the company announced plans to form a joint venture with Suzano S.A. involving substantially all operations of its former International Family Care and Professional segment, with closing expected in mid-2026.

The company's strategy emphasizes accelerating pioneering innovation, optimizing margin structure, and wiring the organization for growth through its Powering Care business strategy launched during the 2024 Transformation Initiative.
