The company operates through three primary product segments: Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), which represented 74% of net sales in 2025; Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT), representing 9% of net sales; and Surgical Structural Heart, representing 17% of net sales. Edwards develops both surgical and transcatheter therapies for aortic, mitral, tricuspid, and pulmonic heart valve diseases, offering patients a comprehensive portfolio of repair and replacement technologies.

The company's flagship TAVR products include the SAPIEN family of valves, which have been implanted in approximately 1.2 million patients worldwide since commercialization began in Europe in 2007 and in the United States in 2011. The TMTT portfolio comprises the PASCAL transcatheter repair system, EVOQUE tricuspid valve replacement system, and SAPIEN M3 mitral valve replacement system. In surgical therapies, Edwards markets the INSPIRIS RESILIA aortic valve and MITRIS RESILIA mitral valve, both featuring proprietary RESILIA tissue technology.

Edwards operates manufacturing facilities across multiple geographies including the United States, Singapore, Costa Rica, and Ireland to ensure continuity of care globally. The company maintains approximately 16,000 employees worldwide, with significant operations concentrated in the United States, Singapore, and Costa Rica. In 2025, 58% of net sales were derived from the United States market, while 42% came from international operations, with Europe representing 60% of international sales, Japan 14%, and Rest of World 26%.

The company sells its products in approximately 100 countries through a combination of direct sales forces and independent distributors. Edwards invests substantially in research and development, allocating approximately 18% of 2025 sales to innovation efforts, with particular focus on transcatheter structural heart programs and clinical evidence generation.
