The Specialty Products Segment develops and produces products for non-fire safety markets, including phosphorus pentasulfide-based lubricant additives through Phosphorus Derivatives, Inc., and electronic or electro-mechanical components through Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions. The MMT acquisition added highly engineered machinery and associated aftermarket consumables, parts, and services for the medical device industry, with a global footprint serving approximately 50 countries.
The company maintains manufacturing facilities across North America, Europe, and Australia. Its intellectual property portfolio includes 38 owned U.S. patents and 49 foreign counterpart patents in the Fire Safety Segment, plus 5 U.S. patents and 5 foreign counterpart patents in the Specialty Products Segment, with an additional 11 U.S. patents and 7 foreign counterpart patents from the MMT acquisition.
