RTX Corporation (NYSE: RTX) is a global aerospace and defense company that provides advanced systems and services to commercial, military, and government customers worldwide. The company maintains its corporate presence at www.rtx.com and operates as a leading innovator in defense technologies, commercial aerospace, and related markets.

RTX operates through three principal business segments. Collins Aerospace is a leading global provider of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products, including aftermarket services, spare parts, overhaul and repair, environmental control systems, flight control systems, landing systems, avionics, propeller systems, and cabin interiors. Collins also supports human space exploration and provides connected aviation solutions through communication networks and air traffic management systems. Pratt & Whitney is among the world's leading suppliers of aircraft engines for commercial, military, business jet, and general aviation customers, designing and manufacturing large engines for widebody and narrowbody aircraft as well as military platforms. The company produces the PW1000G Geared Turbofan engine family and the F135 engine for the F-35 Lightning II fighter jet. Raytheon is a leading provider of defensive and offensive threat detection and mitigation capabilities, designing advanced integrated air and missile defense systems, smart weapons, missiles, advanced sensors and radars, space-based systems, and hypersonics for land, air, sea, and space applications.

The company serves substantial U.S. government customers across all three segments, with U.S. government sales representing 38 percent of total net sales. International sales account for 47 percent of total net sales, reflecting the company's global customer base. RTX maintains a workforce of approximately 180,000 employees located in 52 countries, with 69 percent based in the United States. The company includes approximately 54,000 engineering professionals and approximately 32,000 employees represented by labor unions.

RTX operates approximately 225 manufacturing, production, and overhaul facilities across approximately 25 countries. The company maintains a robust intellectual property portfolio including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Total backlog reached $268 billion as of December 31, 2025, with approximately 25 percent expected to be recognized as revenue over the following twelve months. RTX competes on factors including price, delivery schedule, past performance, reliability, innovation, and technology across highly competitive domestic and international markets.
