The Cigna Group serves more than 185 million customer relationships across more than 30 markets and jurisdictions.

The company operates through two primary segments: Evernorth Health Services and Cigna Healthcare. Evernorth Health Services, representing the pharmacy and specialty care division, comprises Pharmacy Benefit Services and Specialty and Care Services operating segments. This division provides pharmacy benefits administration, home delivery pharmacy through Express Scripts Pharmacy and EnGuide Pharmacy, specialty pharmacy services through Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, health system services via CuraScript SD by Evernorth, and care services including virtual care through MD Live and benefits management through EviCore. Evernorth Health Services generated approximately 19 percent of total revenue from a single major pharmacy benefit client in 2025.

Cigna Healthcare, the health benefits segment, includes U.S. Healthcare and International Health operating segments. U.S. Healthcare provides medical plans, behavioral health solutions, dental coverage, and consumer health engagement programs through various funding models including administrative services only and insured arrangements. International Health delivers medical, dental, pharmacy, and vision coverage to multinational employers and globally mobile individuals across multiple countries. In 2025, Cigna Healthcare completed the sale of its Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, and related businesses to Health Care Service Corporation.

The company maintains relationships with approximately 1.7 million health care providers, clinics, and facilities. U.S. Healthcare operates a national network comprising approximately 1.7 million physicians and over 6,000 hospitals. The company holds over 540 U.S. patents protecting proprietary technological advances. Key brands include Express Scripts, Accredo, EviCore, MD Live, and LocalPlus. The Cigna Group's pharmacy technology platform processes over two billion adjusted prescriptions annually. The company has established five commitments to better: easier access to care, better support, better value, accountability, and transparency.
