The Security segment manufactures locks, safety devices and connected security solutions under Master Lock, American Lock, Yale and August brands, along with fire-resistant safes and security containers under SentrySafe, with approximately 22 percent of segment sales from international markets.
Fortune Brands sells products through diverse channels including kitchen and bath dealers, wholesalers, home centers, industrial distributors, specialty dealers, e-commerce platforms and direct-to-consumer showrooms, primarily serving North American and Chinese markets. The company generated approximately 16 percent of net sales from international markets in 2025. Major customers include The Home Depot and Lowe's Companies, each representing 11 percent of net sales, with sales to all U.S. home centers comprising approximately 26 percent of total sales.
The company recently underwent significant organizational transformation, including the tax-free spin-off of its Cabinets business, MasterBrand, Inc., and a transition to a more aligned business unit-led operating model.
