Corporate and Investment Banking delivers capital markets solutions, corporate banking, investment banking, treasury management, commercial real estate lending, and equity and fixed income capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients globally. Wealth and Investment Management offers personalized wealth management, brokerage, financial planning, lending, private banking, and trust services to affluent and high-net-worth clients through financial advisors, bank branches, independent offices, and digital platforms.

The company operates approximately 4,090 retail bank branches and serves millions of digital and mobile customers. Wells Fargo ranked fourth in assets and third in market value among all U.S. banks as of December 31, 2025, and was ranked number 33 on Fortune's 2025 list of America's largest corporations.

The company's business model centers on generating revenue through net interest income from lending and deposit-taking activities, combined with noninterest income from advisory fees, investment banking, trading, and various service charges. Wells Fargo maintains significant competitive advantages through its extensive branch network, established customer relationships, diversified product offerings, and integrated digital banking capabilities that serve both retail and institutional markets across the United States and internationally.
