Research and development represents a core competitive advantage, with the company maintaining dedicated research facilities and employing approximately 1,000 research and development personnel. Manufacturing occurs primarily in Belgium, Canada, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, supplemented by global third-party manufacturing networks. The company maintains comprehensive trademark protections across principal markets worldwide and leverages patented and proprietary technologies across its product portfolio.
