The business

Arista Networks, Inc. (NYSE: ANET) operates as a leading provider of cloud networking solutions designed to enable organizations to access and leverage data across multiple centers through high-performance, reliable, and secure networking infrastructure. The company's website is located at www.arista.com.

Founded on the principle that data has become a critical competitive differentiator, Arista delivers data-driven networking-as-a-service solutions anchored by its proprietary Extensible Operating System (EOS) and Network Data Lake (NetDL). The company's "Centers of Data" strategy represents a fundamental shift from legacy siloed networking approaches toward a unified architecture that interconnects four primary domains: AI Centers, Data Centers, Campus Centers, and WAN Centers.

Arista's product portfolio spans three primary categories. Core offerings include AI, cloud, and data center networking solutions featuring high-speed Ethernet switching and routing platforms, including the Etherlink portfolio of over twenty products designed for AI Scale Out, Scale Up, and Scale Across use cases. Cognitive Adjacencies encompass campus networking solutions with modular and fixed-form-factor switches, Power-over-Ethernet leaf switches, Wi-Fi access points, and cloud-grade routing platforms. Cognitive Networks include software and services such as CloudVision, an AI Ops and management platform; Arista AVA, an agentic AI-enabled decision-support system; and comprehensive security solutions aligned with zero trust architectures.

The company serves three primary customer segments: Cloud and AI Titans, AI and Specialty Providers, and Enterprise customers across diverse industries including financial services, healthcare, media and entertainment, and government agencies. As of December 31, 2025, Arista employed approximately 5,115 full-time employees worldwide. The company maintains four direct fulfillment facilities globally and partners with leading contract manufacturers including Jabil Inc., Sanmina Corporation, and Foxconn Hon Hai for product manufacturing across Malaysia, Vietnam, Mexico, and other countries.

Arista's competitive strengths include its broad and differentiated product portfolio utilizing merchant silicon, rich software-driven networking-as-a-service platform with feature consistency across products, and award-winning support system through its Technical Assistance Center providing 24/7/365 customer support. The company competes in highly competitive markets historically dominated by Cisco, with competition also emerging from Juniper Networks, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Nvidia, and white box networking vendors.
