Hexcel Corporation (NASDAQ: HXL) is a global leader in advanced lightweight composites technology, operating through two primary reportable segments: Composite Materials and Engineered Products. The company propels the future of flight and transportation through excellence in advanced material lightweighting solutions. Hexcel's website is www.hexcel.com.

The Composite Materials segment, representing approximately 80 percent of net sales, manufactures and markets carbon fibers, specialty reinforcements, prepregs and other fiber-reinforced matrix materials, honeycomb, resins, structural adhesives, and pultruded profiles. Key branded product lines include HexTow carbon fibers, HexForce fabrics, HexPly prepregs, HexFlow polymer matrix materials, HexBond adhesives, and HexWeb honeycomb. The Engineered Products segment, comprising roughly 20 percent of net sales, manufactures composite structures and precision machined honeycomb parts, including HexAM 3D printed parts, RF interference control materials, and dielectric absorber foams.

Hexcel's products serve commercial aerospace, defense and space, and industrial applications. Commercial Aerospace represented 61 percent of 2025 net sales, while Defense, Space & Other markets accounted for 39 percent. The company maintains significant vertical integration, producing carbon fiber from polyacrylonitrile precursor and formulating proprietary resin systems. Approximately 39 percent of 2025 sales were to Airbus and its subcontractors, while approximately 13 percent were to Boeing and its subcontractors.

The company operates manufacturing facilities across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, and Africa, with major plants in Casa Grande Arizona, Decatur Alabama, Seguin Texas, and multiple European locations. As of December 31, 2025, Hexcel employed 5,563 full-time employees and contract workers, with approximately 3,050 in the United States and 2,513 in other countries. Approximately 26 percent of U.S. employees and the majority of European employees are represented by unions or works councils.

Hexcel maintains seven Research and Technology Centers of Excellence supporting expertise in precursor and carbon fiber, chemical and polymer formulation, fabric forming, advanced composite structures, and process engineering. The company holds extensive patents and proprietary know-how developed over decades of designing and manufacturing composite materials and structures.
