The Financial Technology segment delivers anti-financial crime solutions through Nasdaq Verafin, regulatory technology through AxiomSL and surveillance offerings, and capital markets technology including the Calypso platform for trading, risk, and collateral management. These solutions serve approximately 3,800 global clients across more than 55 countries, including all Global Systemically Important Banks.
The Market Services segment operates 19 exchanges across multiple asset classes, including six options exchanges in the United States, three cash equity exchanges, and exchanges in Canada and Europe. The company operates the largest single venue for U.S. cash equity trading through The Nasdaq Stock Market, which listed 4,480 companies as of December 31, 2025.
Nasdaq serves as a trusted partner to exchanges, clearing organizations, banks, brokers, buy-side firms, and regulators globally. The company powers more than 135 marketplaces in over 55 countries and maintains significant competitive advantages through its proprietary data assets, advanced technology infrastructure, and expertise in financial markets operations. The company continues to invest in cloud migration, artificial intelligence capabilities, and emerging technologies to enhance its platform offerings and serve evolving client needs.
