ICE operates through three primary reportable segments. The Exchanges segment, representing 55% of consolidated revenues, operates 13 regulated exchanges and six clearing houses positioned across major financial centers including the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, Canada, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. This segment provides trading and clearing services for derivatives contracts spanning energy futures and options, agricultural and metals futures, financial futures and options, cash equities and equity options, and over-the-counter markets. The segment also generates substantial recurring revenue from data and connectivity services and listings fees, with the New York Stock Exchange serving as a leading venue for corporate and exchange-traded fund listings, hosting approximately 70% of S&P 500 companies.

The Fixed Income and Data Services segment accounts for 24% of revenues and provides fixed income pricing, reference data, indices, analytics, and execution services. This segment includes ICE Bonds for electronic fixed income trading, ICE Clear Credit for credit default swaps clearing, and comprehensive fixed income data and analytics covering over three million securities across 150 countries and 80 currencies. The segment also operates the ICE Global Network, offering multi-asset class connectivity to over 150 trading venues and 750 data sources.

The Mortgage Technology segment represents 21% of revenues and provides comprehensive digital workflow solutions for the U.S. residential mortgage market. Offerings span origination technology, closing solutions, servicing software, and data and analytics products designed to address inefficiencies across the mortgage lifecycle from application through secondary market activity.

As of December 31, 2025, ICE employed 12,844 people globally, including 7,551 in the United States and 5,293 internationally, with significant operations in India, the United Kingdom, and Europe. The company leverages proprietary technology platforms, extensive risk management expertise, and highly differentiated data services to maintain competitive advantages across its diversified product offerings and global distribution network.
