Grainger organizes its operations into two primary reportable segments: High-Touch Solutions North America and Endless Assortment. The High-Touch Solutions North America segment provides value-added MRO solutions rooted in deep product knowledge and customer expertise, serving mid-size and large businesses with complex purchasing operations primarily across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. This segment offers approximately two million products and services including technical support and inventory management through the Grainger-branded businesses. The Endless Assortment segment operates streamlined online platforms providing transparent pricing and easy navigation for smaller and mid-size businesses, encompassing the Zoro Tools and MonotaRO online channels operating predominantly in the United States and Japan respectively, with Zoro offering approximately thirteen million products and MonotaRO providing access to approximately twenty-nine million products.

As of December 31, 2025, Grainger employed approximately 25,000 team members worldwide, with roughly ninety percent located in North America and ten percent in Asia. The company sources products from more than 5,000 primary suppliers worldwide, stocking more than 1.5 million products across its distribution center and branch network globally. No single supplier accounted for more than five percent of total purchases in 2025.

Grainger's product offerings span several broad categories including safety and security, material handling and storage, pumps and plumbing equipment, cleaning and maintenance, and metalworking and hand tools. The company operates under various trademarks including DAYTON, GRAINGER, CONDOR, WESTWARD, SPEEDAIRE, TOUGH GUY, LUMAPRO, ZORO and AIR HANDLER, with approximately nineteen percent of 2025 U.S. stocked product sales within High-Touch Solutions North America comprising private label MRO items bearing Grainger's registered trademarks. In the fourth quarter of 2025, Grainger exited the United Kingdom market by completing the sale of the Cromwell business and closing the Zoro U.K. business, concentrating operations primarily in North America and Japan.
