Strategy · summarised

The fund invests in a mix of Fidelity U.S. equity, international equity, bond, and short-term funds according to a glide path that gradually shifts the asset allocation toward a more conservative mix aligned with the Fidelity Freedom Retirement Fund, approximately 15 to 20 years after 2050. The adviser actively adjusts exposures relative to neutral allocations by up to 10% across major asset classes and may allocate up to 25% in aggregate to other asset classes including high-yield debt, floating rate debt, real estate debt, and emerging markets debt. The fund may also use futures contracts to manage cash flows and remain fully invested.
