Graphic Packaging Holding Company (NASDAQ: GPK) is a leading producer of consumer goods packaging made from renewable or recycled materials. The company designs and manufactures sustainable packaging solutions including cartons, multipack cartons, trays, carriers, paperboard canisters, cups, and bowls primarily from recycled paperboard, unbleached paperboard, and bleached paperboard. The company serves a wide variety of consumer markets spanning food and beverage, foodservice, household products, beauty, and healthcare. Graphic Packaging operates more than 100 locations across 20 countries worldwide, serving customers ranging from local to multinational consumer products companies and retailers. The company employs more than 23,000 people, with approximately 66 percent based in the Americas and 34 percent in Europe and the rest of the world.

Graphic Packaging is organized into two reportable segments: Americas Paperboard Packaging and International Paperboard Packaging. The Americas segment includes paperboard packaging sold primarily to consumer packaged goods companies and cups, lids, and food containers sold to foodservice companies and quick-service restaurants. The International segment includes paperboard packaging sold to consumer packaged goods companies outside the Americas serving food, foodservice, beverage, and consumer product markets including healthcare and beauty.

The company manufactures most of the paperboard it consumes in the Americas and purchases the majority of paperboard for its International operations from third parties. Major customers include Anheuser-Busch InBev, PepsiCo, The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Heinz, General Mills, Nestlé USA, McDonald's, and Chick-fil-A. The company holds an extensive patent portfolio of more than 3,100 U.S. and foreign patents supporting proprietary technologies including Boardio, Fridge Vendor, IntegraPak, KeelClip, MicroFlex-Q, MicroRite, Quilt Wave, Qwik Crisp, Tite-Pak, and Z-Flute trademarks.

Graphic Packaging's strategy emphasizes innovation in sustainable, recyclable packaging solutions that address consumer preferences for lower-impact alternatives to plastic. The company maintains a joint venture in Japan, Rengo Riverwood Packaging, Ltd., in which it holds a 50 percent ownership interest. The company's Vision 2030 plan outlines targets for environmental protection, including achieving Science Based Targets for greenhouse gas emissions reductions and ensuring 100 percent of purchased forest products come from sustainably managed sources.
