These vehicles leverage common technologies including flight software, thrusters, batteries, and composite structures. In October 2025, Firefly completed its acquisition of SciTec, a provider of AI-enabled defense software and big data processing capabilities for missile warning, space domain awareness, and autonomous command and control applications.
