The company operates through four primary reporting segments: Grocery & Snacks, which includes branded shelf-stable food products sold through retail channels; Refrigerated & Frozen, comprising temperature-controlled food products for retail distribution; International, offering branded food products through retail and foodservice channels outside the United States; and Foodservice, which provides branded and customized food products to restaurants and foodservice establishments primarily in the United States.

Conagra's portfolio includes iconic brands such as Birds Eye, Duncan Hines, Healthy Choice, Marie Callender's, Reddi-wip, Slim Jim, and Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP, among many others. The company also maintains significant equity method investments, most notably a joint venture in Ardent Mills, a milling business. As of May 31, 2026, Conagra employed approximately 17,400 people, with roughly 48 percent represented by collective bargaining agreements.

The company's business model centers on delivering value-added consumer food products to retail food and foodservice channels through both direct sales and distributor networks. Conagra serves chain grocers, wholesale operators, convenience stores, and foodservice customers including restaurants, schools, and healthcare facilities. Walmart and its affiliates represent the company's largest customer, accounting for approximately 29 percent of consolidated net sales.

Conagra's competitive advantages include its extensive portfolio of well-established brands, innovation capabilities, scale in manufacturing and distribution, and focus on consumer preferences. The company sources diverse commodities including wheat, corn, vegetables, oils, and proteins, with production occurring both year-round and seasonally depending on agricultural cycles.
