The iShares Core S&P Small-Cap ETF (the Fund ) seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of small-capitalization U.S. equities.
The fund tracks the S&P SmallCap 600 Index using representative sampling, holding a portfolio of small-cap U.S. equities selected to match the index's investment characteristics, industry weightings, and liquidity profile rather than holding all index constituents. Because the fund may not hold all securities in the index, its returns may diverge from the index. The fund may invest up to 20% of assets in derivatives, cash, and securities outside the index to aid tracking.
