Building services operations, accounting for approximately 21% of revenues, include maintenance and services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, HVAC projects, energy efficiency retrofits, facility management, janitorial services, and site-based operations for commercial and government clients. Industrial services, comprising approximately 7% of revenues, primarily serve the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries through refinery turnaround services, specialty welding, maintenance of critical process units, and heat exchanger manufacturing and repair.
EMCOR employs approximately 44,000 people, with approximately 62% represented by various unions under approximately 450 collective bargaining agreements. The company serves a diverse portfolio of commercial, technology, manufacturing, industrial, healthcare, utility, and institutional customers across numerous geographic markets.
