The business

SiteOne Landscape Supply, Inc. (NYSE: SITE) operates as the largest and only national full-product-line wholesale distributor of landscape supplies in the United States, with an established presence in Canada. The company maintains its website at www.siteone.com.

The company serves primarily residential and commercial landscape professionals who specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of lawns, gardens, golf courses, and other outdoor spaces. SiteOne operates over 670 branch locations across 45 U.S. states and five Canadian provinces, supported by a fleet of more than 2,600 delivery vehicles. The company sources approximately 180,000 stock keeping units from roughly 6,000 suppliers, offering a comprehensive portfolio that includes hardscapes, irrigation supplies, fertilizer and control products, landscape accessories, nursery goods, and outdoor lighting products.

Revenue is distributed across three construction sectors: residential construction accounts for approximately 60 percent of net sales, commercial construction for 32 percent, and recreational and other construction for 8 percent. By end market, approximately 36 percent of sales derive from maintenance of existing properties, 34 percent from new construction, and 30 percent from repair and upgrade activities. The company maintains a customer base exceeding 440,000 firms and individuals, with no single customer representing more than 2 percent of net sales.

SiteOne operates proprietary brands including LESCO, a premium brand with strong recognition among golf and professional landscape contractors, as well as Pro-Trade, Solstice, SiteOne Green Tech, and Portfolio brands. These proprietary branded products accounted for approximately 15 percent of fiscal 2025 net sales.

The company employs approximately 8,200 associates, of whom roughly 93 percent work on a full-time, year-round basis. SiteOne's business model combines traditional branch distribution with direct distribution services that provide point-to-point logistics for bulk quantities. The company was established through Deere & Company's acquisitions beginning in 2001, with subsequent ownership by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice beginning in 2013, and completed its initial public offering in May 2016.
