The company's recent strategic activities include the April 2024 acquisition of substantially all assets and assumption of deposits from Republic First Bank through an FDIC-assisted transaction, and the July 2022 acquisition of Prudential Bancorp, whose subsidiary Prudential Bank was subsequently merged into Fulton Bank. In November 2025, Fulton Financial entered into a merger agreement with Blue Foundry Bancorp, with regulatory approvals obtained and closing expected in April 2026.
