Lifestyle comprises Hidden Valley food products, Brita water-filtration systems, and Burt's Bees natural personal care offerings. The International segment markets similar product categories outside the United States under brands including Poett, Clorinda, and Chux.

Clorox's major product categories include cleaning products representing 44 percent of consolidated net sales, bags and wraps at 15 percent, food products at 11 percent, and cat litter products at 10 percent. Over 80 percent of the company's sales derive from brands holding number one or number two market share positions in their respective categories. The company distributes products through mass retailers, grocery outlets, warehouse clubs, dollar stores, home hardware centers, and e-commerce channels. Walmart and its affiliates represent the company's largest customer, accounting for 26 percent of consolidated net sales.

In April 2026, Clorox completed its acquisition of GOJO Industries, expanding its portfolio to include the Purell brand and health and hygiene solutions while strengthening its presence in business-to-business channels including healthcare and institutional markets. The company was founded in Oakland, California in 1913 and maintains its principal research and development facility in Pleasanton, California.
