Ingersoll Rand Inc. (NYSE: IR) is a diversified global provider of mission-critical flow creation products and industrial and life science solutions. The company operates through two primary segments: Industrial Technologies and Services, and Precision and Science Technologies. The Industrial Technologies and Services segment designs, manufactures, and services air and gas compression equipment, vacuum and blower products, fluid transfer equipment, loading systems, power tools, and lifting equipment. The Precision and Science Technologies segment produces specialized equipment for industrial and life science markets, including positive displacement pumps, automated liquid handling systems, and single-use powder and liquid handling systems for biopharmaceutical applications. The company sells its products under more than 90 market-leading brands, including Ingersoll Rand and Gardner Denver, which are globally recognized for quality, reliability, and customer service.

As of December 31, 2025, Ingersoll Rand employed over 21,000 people across more than 60 key manufacturing facilities and over 50 service and repair centers spanning six continents. The company maintains a significant global presence with 58 percent of revenues derived from customers outside the United States. Aftermarket revenue, including parts, consumables, and services, represented 36.5 percent of total company revenue in 2025, providing a recurring revenue stream from the company's large installed base of products.

The company's customer base is diverse and serves a wide array of end-markets including life sciences, food and beverage production, clean energy, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, water and wastewater treatment, and others. Ingersoll Rand distributes its products through an integrated network of direct sales representatives and independent distributors tailored to specific geographies and end-markets. The company has a rich engineering heritage spanning over 165 years, which has generated strong brand loyalty and long-standing customer relationships.
