Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC) operates as a leading global service provider of automotive and industrial replacement parts and value-added solutions through more than 10,800 locations worldwide. The company's website is www.genpt.com.

Founded in Georgia in 1928, GPC distributes replacement parts and supplies across North America, Europe, and Australasia through two primary business segments. North America Automotive, accounting for 39 percent of sales, serves customers through 6,864 locations across the United States and Canada, with approximately 35 percent company-owned and 65 percent independently-owned stores operating primarily under the NAPA brand. International Automotive, representing 24 percent of sales, operates through Alliance Automotive Group in Europe and GPC Asia Pacific in Australasia, serving over 3,100 locations across multiple countries with various established local banners.

The Industrial Parts Group comprises 37 percent of total sales and operates through Motion Industries in North America and Motion Asia Pacific in Australasia, providing maintenance, repair and operation products and solutions to approximately 180,000 customers across roughly 900,000 locations. This segment maintains access to over 10 million replacement parts sourced from nearly 40,000 suppliers.

GPC generated net sales of 24.3 billion dollars in 2025, with revenues distributed approximately 74 percent in North America, 16 percent in Europe, and 10 percent in Australasia. The company employs more than 65,000 people worldwide across 17 countries. Key competitive advantages include strong brand recognition, particularly the NAPA trademark, extensive global distribution networks, robust supply chain capabilities, and advanced technology solutions including e-commerce platforms and data analytics.

In February 2026, GPC announced its intention to separate into two independent, publicly traded companies: Global Automotive and Global Industrial, targeted for completion in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
