The business

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) operates as a global designer and manufacturer of semiconductor products, with its investor relations presence at www.intc.com. The company develops and produces CPUs and other semiconductor solutions that power computing devices and related services used worldwide by consumers, enterprises, governments, and educational organizations.

Intel operates through three primary reportable segments: Client Computing Group (CCG), which delivers platforms and processors for PCs and edge devices; Data Center and AI (DCAI), which provides workload-optimized solutions for data centers including CPUs, AI accelerators, and custom ASICs; and Intel Foundry, which develops leading-edge semiconductor process technologies and provides manufacturing and foundry services to both internal product groups and external customers. The company also maintains an "all other" category that includes non-reportable segments and divested businesses, notably including an 80 percent ownership interest in Mobileye, a publicly-traded autonomous driving solutions company, and a 68 percent interest in IMS, which develops mask writing tools.

As an integrated design manufacturer, Intel uniquely combines semiconductor design with leading-edge manufacturing capabilities, operating fabrication plants and assembly and test facilities primarily in the United States. The company is the only U.S.-based manufacturer conducting both leading-edge semiconductor logic research and development alongside high-volume manufacturing of logic semiconductors utilizing leading-edge nodes. Intel's product portfolio centers on its x86 architecture, which has served as a foundational computing platform for over four decades, supported by an extensive software ecosystem. The company's offerings span from client CPUs under the Intel Core and Intel Core Ultra brands to server processors in the Intel Xeon family, complemented by discrete GPUs, networking products, and connectivity solutions.

Intel's strategic priorities focus on transforming organizational culture toward engineering excellence, revitalizing the x86 ecosystem to support AI workloads, growing its external foundry business to serve third-party semiconductor customers, and expanding market opportunities through purpose-built ASICs and GPUs. The company markets and sells products through direct sales channels and indirect distribution networks including OEMs, ODMs, cloud service providers, distributors, and resellers serving global markets.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
