The business

Veralto Corporation (NYSE: VRTL) is a global provider of essential technology solutions that monitor, enhance, and protect critical resources worldwide. The company was incorporated in 2023 as an independent, publicly traded entity following its separation from Danaher Corporation on September 30, 2023, when Danaher distributed all shares of Veralto to its stockholders on a one-for-three basis. Veralto operates through two primary segments: Water Quality and Product Quality & Innovation, generating approximately $5.5 billion in annual sales with a workforce of nearly 17,000 associates distributed across approximately 50 countries.

The Water Quality segment provides comprehensive water analytics and treatment solutions through globally recognized brands including Hach, Trojan Technologies, and ChemTreat. These offerings serve municipal utilities, industrial customers, and research applications, with Hach alone serving over 149,000 customers and helping ensure safe water for approximately 3.4 billion people daily. Trojan Technologies' systems support treatment of 15 trillion gallons of water annually, while ChemTreat's solutions helped customers conserve over 88 billion gallons of water in 2025.

The Product Quality & Innovation segment enables brand owners in consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors through marking and coding, and packaging and color solutions. Leading brands include Videojet, Linx, Esko, X-Rite, and Pantone. The company serves a majority of the top 25 global consumer packaged goods brands and a majority of the top 20 pharmaceutical brands. Veralto's business model emphasizes recurring revenue, with approximately 61 percent of sales derived from consumables, spare parts, services, and software solutions.

Geographically, Veralto generated 48 percent of 2025 sales from North America, 23 percent from Western Europe, 2 percent from other developed markets, and 27 percent from high-growth markets. The company maintains approximately 60 principal facilities globally, including 21 in the United States and 39 internationally. Veralto's competitive advantages include strong brand recognition, an extensive installed base generating recurring consumables sales, deep customer relationships, and the Veralto Enterprise System, a business management philosophy emphasizing continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
