The Financial Products segment, primarily conducted through Cat Financial and Insurance Services subsidiaries, offers retail and wholesale financing, leases, and insurance products to customers and dealers worldwide.
Caterpillar employs approximately 118,000 full-time persons globally, with 51,600 located in the United States and 66,400 outside the U.S. The company distributes products through 41 dealers in the United States and 109 dealers outside the U.S., supplemented by additional distributor networks for engines and power generation systems. The company maintains significant manufacturing and operational capabilities across North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions.
