Its services include acute inpatient psychiatric care, specialty treatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders, outpatient medication-assisted treatment, residential treatment and other outpatient behavioral healthcare. The company receives payments from Medicaid, commercial insurers, Medicare and other sources. Its service lines are acute inpatient psychiatric facilities, specialty treatment facilities, comprehensive treatment centers and residential treatment centers, representing 55%, 17%, 17% and 11% of 2025 revenue, respectively. At December 31, 2025, Acadia operated 277 facilities with more than 12,500 beds in 40 states and Puerto Rico, including 178 comprehensive treatment centers.
