Billers in consumer finance, insurance, healthcare, utilities, and telecommunications use ACI's electronic bill presentment and payment services to optimize operations and customer satisfaction.

ACI's core solution areas include issuing and acquiring platforms, account-to-account real-time payments, merchant payments orchestration, payments intelligence and risk management powered by artificial intelligence, and bill payment services. The company offers these solutions through traditional on-premises software licenses, cloud-based Software-as-a-Service arrangements, or hybrid deployments tailored to customer requirements.

As of December 31, 2025, ACI employed 2,930 people across the Americas, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and Asia Pacific regions, serving customers in approximately 90 countries. The company serves nearly all top ten banks globally by asset size and maintains no single customer representing more than ten percent of consolidated revenues. ACI was incorporated as a Delaware corporation in 1993 and has built its market position through organic product development and strategic acquisitions that expanded its payments software capabilities.

Fund ownership counts N-PORT filers only, so it is a floor rather than a census — pensions, insurers and direct holders are not visible here, and the remainder is not “held by individuals”.

Fund ownership is a subset of institutional 13F ownership — the two describe overlapping populations and must not be added together.
