The company leverages decades of industry expertise and connections across the drone, aviation, and avionics markets to provide differentiated solutions to military and commercial customers globally.
The company operates through four reportable segments: Drones, Avionics, Training, and Electric Air Mobility. The Drones segment, operated through the Sky-Watch brand, develops and manufactures military drones with GPS-denied capabilities for NATO countries and commercial drone services. The Avionics segment, under the Aspen Avionics brand, produces flight displays, Connected Panels, and GPS/GNSS sensors for military and general aviation aircraft, drones, and electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, with over 20 years of operating history and relationships with more than 650 dealers worldwide. The Training segment provides military pilot training and consulting services through the Coastal Defense Inc. brand, serving the U.S. military, NATO countries, and allies, including participation in multiple indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts. The Electric Air Mobility segment, operated through Jaunt, is developing electric and hybrid-electric compound rotorcraft aircraft designed for cargo and government applications.
AIRO Group was formed in August 2021 and completed the Put-Together Transaction, acquiring Aspen Avionics, Agile Defense, Coastal Defense Inc., AIRO Drone, Sky-Watch, and Jaunt Air Mobility. The company completed its initial public offering in June 2025 and a follow-on offering in September 2025. The company maintains operations in the United States, Canada, and Denmark, with an international footprint and established relationships with U.S. government agencies, NATO members, and regulatory bodies including the FAA, DHS, and NASA.
