The company's business is organized into four reportable segments. Allstate Protection pursues a "Transformative Growth" approach centered on becoming a low-cost digital provider offering affordable, simple, and connected products through multiple distribution channels. The company emphasizes sophisticated pricing algorithms, telematics-based solutions including Drivewise and Milewise programs, and enhanced digital customer experiences.
Allstate maintains significant competitive advantages through brand recognition supported by its iconic "You're In Good Hands With Allstate" slogan, extensive distribution infrastructure, proprietary underwriting databases, and integrated protection service offerings that differentiate it in highly competitive personal lines insurance markets.
