What American Integrity Insurance Group, Inc. does

In the company’s own words

American Integrity Insurance Group, Inc. is a leading specialty residential property insurer headquartered in Tampa, Florida, serving the southeastern United States with a primary focus on Florida's homeowners insurance market. The company provides personal residential property insurance for single-family homeowners and condominium owners, as well as coverage for vacant dwellings and investment properties. As of December 31, 2025, American Integrity maintains 421,866 policies in-force with gross premiums written of $944.6 million and shareholders' equity of $337.0 million.

Founded in 2006 to capitalize on market dislocation following the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons, American Integrity has established itself as the sixth largest writer of residential property insurance in Florida based on policies in-force. Florida represents 93.7 percent of the company's policies in-force and 96.5 percent of in-force premium, though the company recently expanded into North Carolina in January 2026 as part of its strategic geographic diversification into other Southeastern coastal states.

The company operates through a vertically integrated model controlling substantially all aspects of underwriting, actuarial analysis, pricing, distribution, and claims processing. American Integrity distributes its products through multiple channels in the Voluntary Market, including independent insurance agents, national insurance carriers, and homebuilder-affiliated agents. As of December 31, 2025, 77.5 percent of policies in-force originated through the Voluntary Market, with the remaining 22.5 percent assumed from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.

American Integrity's competitive advantages include deep Florida market expertise developed over two decades, disciplined analytical underwriting supported by proprietary technology, fully integrated in-house claims management, strong relationships with distribution partners and reinsurers, and a robust capital position. The company maintains conservative investment portfolios managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management and purchases comprehensive third-party reinsurance to manage catastrophic weather exposure. Since inception, American Integrity has generated cumulative net income of $121.2 million while maintaining profitability in all years except two, demonstrating consistent underwriting discipline across insurance market cycles.
