In the company’s own words
Angi Inc. (NASDAQ: ANGI) operates a digital marketplace connecting quality home service professionals with consumers across more than 500 service categories. The company maintains its primary website at www.angi.com and serves as a leading platform for home repair, remodeling, cleaning, landscaping, and related household services throughout North America and Europe.
The company operates through two reportable segments: U.S. and International. The U.S. segment provides consumers with tools to find pre-screened, customer-rated professionals nationwide through digital marketplaces and third-party affiliate platforms. Consumers access basic matching services, ratings, reviews, and cost guides free of charge, with optional paid membership packages available. Professionals generate revenue through lead fees for consumer matches, advertising subscriptions, membership packages, and pre-priced service offerings where consumers request and pay for services directly through Angi platforms. The International segment operates home services marketplaces in Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria, and Italy under brands including HomeStars, MyBuilder, MyHammer, Travaux, and Werkspot.
As of December 31, 2025, Angi employed approximately 2,300 employees worldwide, with the substantial majority based in the United States. The platform connected approximately 111,000 average monthly active professionals during the fourth quarter of 2025 and facilitated approximately 16 million projects during the twelve-month period ended December 31, 2025.
Angi operates under multiple established brands including Angi, Angie's List, HomeAdvisor, and Handy. The company was incorporated in Delaware in 2017 through the combination of IAC's HomeAdvisor business and Angie's List, Inc., subsequently acquiring Handy Technologies in 2018. On March 31, 2025, IAC completed a spin-off of Angi through a special dividend distribution, establishing Angi as an independent public company. The business model emphasizes network effects, leveraging proprietary algorithms to match consumers with qualified professionals while maintaining quality control through screening processes, ratings systems, and complaint resolution mechanisms.
