Apyx Medical Corporation (NASDAQ: APYX) is a surgical aesthetics company focused on developing and commercializing innovative energy-based medical devices for cosmetic and surgical applications. The company operates through two reportable segments: Surgical Aesthetics, which contributed 85.8% of consolidated revenue in 2025, and OEM, which accounted for 14.2% of revenue.
The company's core product portfolio centers on its proprietary Helium Plasma Platform Technology, marketed as Renuvion in the cosmetic surgery market and J-Plasma in the hospital surgical market. These products enable surgeons to deliver controlled heat to tissue for cutting, coagulation, and ablation during open and minimally invasive procedures. In May 2025, Apyx received FDA clearance for AYON, an all-in-one body contouring system that integrates fat removal, closed-loop contouring, tissue contraction, and electrosurgical capabilities. The company also commercialized Renuvion in China following regulatory clearance in July 2025.
