The firm operates through four primary investment groups that manage complementary alternative asset strategies. The Real Assets Group manages equity and debt strategies across real estate and infrastructure investments, with vertically-integrated operating platforms and a recent acquisition of GLP Capital Partners' international business expanding logistics and digital infrastructure capabilities. The Secondaries Group invests in secondary markets across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and credit strategies. The Private Equity Group deploys capital across market environments with focus on organic and inorganic growth and operational expertise.
Ares also operates other businesses including Ares Insurance Solutions, strategic investments through company-sponsored SPACs, and a venture capital business focused on growth-stage companies and applied artificial intelligence.
