The company operates through two reportable segments: U.S. operations, which account for 88 percent of total net sales, and International operations, representing 12 percent of revenue.
The company manages its business across three clinical areas organized as Pain Treatments and PRP, Surgical Solutions, and Restorative Therapies. The Pain Treatments segment includes hyaluronic acid intra-articular injections for knee osteoarthritis marketed under brands including Durolane, GELSYN-3, and SUPARTZ FX, as well as peripheral nerve stimulation devices including StimRouter, TalisMann, and StimTrial for chronic pain management. The company also distributes the XCELL Platelet-Rich Plasma System in the United States for orthopedic and sports medicine applications. The Surgical Solutions segment comprises Ultrasonics products including the neXus platform, BoneScalpel, SonaStar Elite, and SonicOne systems for precision bone resection and soft tissue ablation, alongside bone graft substitutes including OSTEOAMP, SIGNAFUSE, PUREBONE, and Reficio DBM. The Restorative Therapies segment features EXOGEN, an ultrasound bone stimulation system for nonunion fractures and fresh fracture healing that has been commercially available for over 30 years.
Bioventus manufactures and assembles most products at its production facility in Cordova, Tennessee, and maintains a network of direct and indirect sales teams across the United States and international markets. The company serves physicians and healthcare facilities including physician offices, ambulatory surgical centers, and hospitals across multiple specialties including orthopedic surgery, spine, neurosurgery, general surgery, and trauma.
