Founded in 2001, BlackLine has pioneered digital finance transformation through its comprehensive Studio360 Platform, which unifies financial data and processes across organizations. The platform serves as the primary point of interaction for accounting and finance professionals, integrating with leading enterprise resource planning systems including Workday, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage Intacct, and NetSuite, while also connecting to diverse financial data sources such as banks, point-of-sale systems, treasury, payroll, and procurement applications.
BlackLine's solution portfolio encompasses two primary product categories: record-to-report and invoice-to-cash offerings. Record-to-report solutions include account reconciliations, transaction matching, journal entry management, consolidation, compliance, and intercompany transaction processing. Invoice-to-cash solutions address cash application, credit and risk management, collections management, and electronic invoicing and payments. The company augments its software with comprehensive implementation, optimization, training, and customer success services.
In September 2025, BlackLine launched Verity, a suite of artificial intelligence capabilities providing embedded and auditable AI throughout its platform.
