The company operates through two primary reportable segments. The Famous Footwear segment comprises 821 retail stores located across 49 states, Canada, and Guam, along with e-commerce operations through famousfootwear.com and famousfootwear.ca. This segment functions as one of America's leading family-branded footwear retailers, offering trend-right branded and private-label footwear at accessible price points. The Brand Portfolio segment designs, develops, sources, manufactures, and distributes footwear through a carefully curated collection of owned and licensed brands, including Sam Edelman, Vionic, Naturalizer, Allen Edmonds, Stuart Weitzman, LifeStride, Franco Sarto, Rykä, Blowfish Malibu, Vince, and Veronica Beard. This segment operates 188 company-owned retail stores and 148 franchised locations internationally, along with 15 branded e-commerce websites. The Brand Portfolio segment also maintains wholesale operations serving approximately 1,900 retailers globally.
Net sales are distributed across four major categories: women's footwear representing 61 percent of sales, men's footwear at 21 percent, children's footwear at 12 percent, and clothing and accessories at 6 percent. The company employs approximately 10,000 people, including 5,000 full-time and 5,000 part-time employees.
