What Context Therapeutics Inc. does

In the company’s own words

Context Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXR) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing T cell engaging bispecific antibodies for solid tumors. The company's website is www.contexttherapeutics.com.

Context operates a pipeline of three primary product candidates designed to redirect T cell-mediated lysis toward malignant cells expressing specific tumor-associated antigens. CTIM-76 is a Claudin 6 by CD3 T cell engager in Phase 1 clinical development for gynecologic and testicular cancers, with the first patient dosed in January 2025. CT-95 is a Mesothelin by CD3 T cell engager also in Phase 1 trials, with first patient dosing in April 2025, targeting multiple solid tumors including ovarian cancer, pancreatic carcinoma, and mesothelioma. CT-202 is a Nectin-4 by CD3 T cell engager incorporating pH-dependent binding technology, expected to enter first-in-human trials in the third quarter of 2026.

The company's strategy centers on rapidly advancing its clinical programs through proof of concept while evaluating opportunities to expand its pipeline of selective cancer therapeutics. Context retains full worldwide development and commercialization rights to certain patents covering CTIM-76, CT-95, and CT-202. The company has established key collaborations and licensing agreements, including arrangements with Integral Molecular for CLDN6 technology, an asset purchase of CT-95 from Link Immunotherapeutics, and an exclusive worldwide license from BioAtla for Nectin-4 technology.

Context does not own manufacturing facilities and relies on third-party contract manufacturers including Lonza and Just-Evotec Biologics for production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products. The company currently has no sales, marketing, or commercial distribution capabilities and may pursue partnerships with larger pharmaceutical organizations to support future commercialization efforts.

As a smaller reporting company and emerging growth company, Context has never been profitable and is in the early stages of clinical development. The company estimates addressable patient populations exceeding 50,000 annually for CLDN6-positive disease, over 100,000 for mesothelin-positive disease, and greater than 125,000 for Nectin-4-positive disease in the United States alone.
