Founded in 1911, Douglas Elliman built its reputation as a luxury real estate brand serving high-value residential markets. As of December 31, 2025, the company operates 114 offices with approximately 5,800 real estate agents and approximately 580 employees. The company generated approximately 50 percent of its revenues from the New York metropolitan area in 2025, with the average transaction value of homes sold reaching approximately $1.86 million, significantly higher than principal competitors.

The company's core business segments include residential real estate brokerage services, development marketing through its Douglas Elliman Development Marketing division, and ancillary real estate services. The development marketing division provides sales, leasing, and marketing expertise for new residential developments and employs approximately 88 in-house professionals. Ancillary services include title insurance through DE Title Services and a 50 percent interest in Partners Land Services LLC in Florida, escrow services through Portfolio Escrow in California, and mortgage financing through Elliman Capital, launched in 2025 in partnership with Associated Mortgage.
