The company announced plans to divest its aramids business to Arclin, expected to close in early 2026.
The company owns approximately 6,100 patents and patent applications globally, with more than 70 percent of its continuing operations patent estate holding remaining terms exceeding five years. DuPont maintains a diverse portfolio of well-recognized trademarks and leverages proprietary technologies, application expertise, and specialized manufacturing capabilities to serve regulated and mission-critical markets. The company's competitive positioning derives from differentiated technology, robust product development pipelines, established brands, customer intimacy, and global manufacturing and service capabilities.
