DXC serves approximately 115,000 employees across 60 countries, supporting a diverse global client base that includes many Fortune 500 companies. The company operates through three primary reportable segments that reflect its core business divisions: Consulting & Engineering Services, Global Infrastructure Services, and Insurance Software & Services.
The Consulting & Engineering Services segment helps businesses leverage artificial intelligence and data analytics to improve operations, automate tasks, and accelerate digital transformation. This division provides software engineering, consulting, and custom enterprise application solutions with particular strength in finance, automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, travel, and public sector industries.
Global Infrastructure Services implements and operates critical technology systems for global businesses and governments. This segment designs, migrates, and manages complex data center, mainframe, cloud, and network environments while emphasizing scalability, security, compliance, and cost efficiency. The division also provides cross-industry business process services that streamline core enterprise functions including finance, human resources, procurement, and customer service.

DXC was formed on April 1, 2017, through the merger of Computer Sciences Corporation and the Enterprise Services business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company. The company embeds artificial intelligence, automation, and data-driven capabilities throughout its service offerings through its proprietary Xponential framework, which integrates governance, automation, and human expertise to guide clients from pilot implementations to scaled production-level deployments.
