What Figure Technology Solutions, Inc. does

In the company’s own words

Figure Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: FIG) operates at figure.com as a financial technology company building blockchain-based infrastructure for capital markets. The company develops proprietary technology that powers next-generation lending, trading, and investing activities across consumer credit and digital asset markets, leveraging blockchain technology to improve speed, efficiency, standardization, and liquidity compared to legacy financial systems.

Figure's core business centers on its Loan Origination System, which facilitates home equity lines of credit and other consumer loans. The company operates through two primary strategies: Figure-branded direct-to-consumer lending and Partner-branded solutions where financial institutions use Figure's technology to originate loans independently. During the most recent fiscal year, the company facilitated approximately $8.3 billion in home equity lending through its platform, with 307 active partners. The company's proprietary DART platform, an electronic registry tracking servicing rights and loan ownership on Provenance Blockchain, was utilized in 87 percent of loans originated through the system. Figure Connect, launched in June 2024, serves as an electronic marketplace employing blockchain technology to connect loan sellers and buyers, with approximately $3.9 billion in HELOC volume transacted by third parties as of year-end.

Beyond lending, Figure operates Figure Exchange, a digital asset marketplace providing cryptocurrency trading with cross-asset collateralization capabilities, and YLDS, an interest-bearing peer-to-peer transferable stablecoin registered as a security with the SEC. The company also developed Democratized Prime, a decentralized finance marketplace connecting capital sources and uses through blockchain infrastructure.

Figure maintains extensive regulatory credentials, holding more than 180 lending and servicing licenses, 48 money transmitter licenses, and SEC broker-dealer registration with alternative trading system authority. The company operates Provenance Blockchain, an independent Layer 1 blockchain supporting real-world and digital asset transactions, which has accumulated over $70 billion in transaction value since launch in late 2018.

As of December 31, 2025, Figure employed approximately 602 full-time employees and maintained no unionized workforce. The company's technology platform has reduced median home equity loan funding time to ten days from an industry standard of approximately 43 days, while reducing average production costs to approximately $717 per loan compared to the mortgage industry average of $11,109.
